Dark ruby red color. Concentrated aroma of wild berries (blueberries, blackberries) and spices (clove) with oaky notes of toast. Warm and vinous on the palate with lush body and juicy tannins nicely refined by oak aging.
Henry Fessy Beaujolais Villages offers an intense red with purple hints. The nose reveals rich aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and blackcurrant. Beautiful length on the palate with red and black fruits notes. A wine with a very nice balance and soft tannins.
It has impressive precision on the nose with the Cabernet Franc component beginning to make its presence felt. The succulent black fruit now contend with herbaceous, dried meat scents with just a touch of truffle. The palate is full-bodied with good intensity. Ripe, dusky tannins, still quite closed with a structure, graphite tinged finish, and it shows very fine poise if not the complexity of a top class Cheval Blanc.
